ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Daniel! My degree is a hodge-podge of interests and the manifestation of my academic goals. I studied Chemistry because of my passion for science. While in college, I found a passion for Chemistry Education research, where I can research how students understand concepts in Chemistry. I chose Marketing because in order to compete in today's world I will need business knowledge. It is also a great tool for marketing myself. Learning to speak, read and write in Japanese has been a lifelong project. I have chosen Japan as the country I will live and work in after graduation because I admire and deeply respect its culture and people.
Throughout my undergraduate career, I felt that Japan was where I needed to go. I took the risk and decided to study abroad in Kyoto, Japan in Summer 2017. This was truly a turning point in my life. It helped me confirm that Japan was where I wanted to live and work in after I graduated. I am currently applying to the JET Program to teach English to children in Japanese public schools. My life and career have always been centered on what I feel most passionate about, and my focus and determination has never wavered.
